Editorial Policy

We want the directory to be useful enough that parents can understand why a page says what it says.

Accuracy and sourcing

For practical facts such as opening hours, prices and facilities, we prefer official operators, NParks and other primary sources. OpenStreetMap and community submissions can help identify locations and smaller playgrounds, but important facts are checked against stronger sources where available.

Editorial independence

Our editorial verdict is separate from user votes, star ratings and advertisements. Businesses cannot purchase a higher community rank or a more favourable verdict.

Quotes and third-party reviews

We attribute short excerpts and link to their original source. Live Google Maps reviews and photos, when enabled, are loaded through Google Maps Platform and remain attributed to their authors.

Updates and corrections

Playgrounds change, businesses close and prices move. Every listing can carry a last-verified date, and readers can report corrections. Material errors should be updated as soon as reasonably possible.

Children and privacy

We do not encourage reviewers to post children’s full names, school information or other unnecessary personal details. Moderators may remove personal information or inappropriate content.
