This Privacy Policy explains how Singapore Playgrounds may collect and use information when you browse the directory, vote, leave a review, submit a playground, join the newsletter, claim a listing or send an enquiry.

Information you choose to provide

If you leave a comment or parent review, WordPress may collect the name, email address and comment information you enter, together with technical information used for spam prevention and moderation. Contact, listing-claim, playground-submission and enquiry forms may collect the details you choose to send us.

Enquiries and lead delivery

If you ask about a birthday party, class or venue, we may store the enquiry so we can respond, measure the service and, where the relevant venue has opted in to receive enquiries, share the information with that venue. Business and free growth-review enquiries may be handled by The Tofu Media Group, which runs Singapore Playgrounds. We do not publish private lead-recipient email addresses on listing pages.

If you sign up for email updates, we store the email address you provide for the purpose of sending the requested newsletter. You can ask to unsubscribe at any time.

Playground votes and community features

The site may use first-party cookies or account information to reduce duplicate recommendation and award votes. These controls are intended to protect the usefulness of community rankings.

Analytics, cookies and advertising

We may use analytics and advertising services to understand how the site is used and to fund its operation. If Google AdSense or other Google advertising products are enabled, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure and, where permitted, personalise advertising. Where consent is legally required, non-essential advertising or measurement technologies should be loaded only after the appropriate consent choice.

Embedded and third-party content

Some pages may contain OpenStreetMap maps, Wikimedia media, public Instagram embeds or live Google Maps place content. Loading these services can share technical information such as your IP address with the relevant provider and may allow that provider to set cookies or apply its own privacy terms.

How long information is retained

Approved comments and reviews may be kept so that the community history remains useful. Contact, claim, newsletter and enquiry information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide the requested service, maintain the directory, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations.

Children’s privacy

Singapore Playgrounds is written for parents and caregivers. We do not ask contributors to publish children’s full names, school information or other unnecessary personal details. Moderators may remove personal information involving children from comments or submissions.

Your choices

You may contact us to request correction or removal of personal information you submitted where appropriate. You can also manage cookies through your browser and any consent controls provided on the site.
