The quick take

Editor’s verdict

Curiosity Cove is one of Singapore's more unusual indoor playgrounds because the emphasis is not simply on slides and ball pits. The four nature-inspired zones mix climbing, sensory elements, imaginative play and interactive technology around the way animals move and live. Preschoolers and younger primary-school children are likely to get the most out of it; older children expecting a conventional high-energy indoor playground may find there is less to keep them occupied. The biggest practical inconvenience for families with younger siblings is that strollers cannot enter the play area.

+

Best bitBeautifully designed, highly immersive nature-themed play that combines physical activity with wildlife discovery

−

Keep in mindRelatively expensive for families whose children finish exploring quickly, particularly older kids; strollers are also prohibited inside the gated play area
