Editor’s verdict
Kidz Amaze at SAFRA Jurong is one of those indoor playgrounds that still feels impressively large once you step inside. Its three-storey play structure gives children plenty to explore, while the towering slide and climbing elements make it particularly appealing to energetic kids who would rather scramble, climb and race around than spend their session moving between small activity stations.
It is especially good for families with primary-school-aged children, although younger children who are confident climbers can still find plenty to do. Parents may also appreciate that the playground has washrooms within the play area and a dedicated space to sit while the kids explore. The overall experience is less polished and boutique-looking than some of Singapore's newer indoor playgrounds, but that is not really the point here. Kidz Amaze Jurong works best when you simply want a large, active playground where children can burn off a serious amount of energy without being rushed through a short play session.
Best bitThe large multi-level play structure and 18.5m slide
Keep in mindThe experience is more focused on physical play than imaginative or interactive themed activities
