Editor’s verdict
Little Play Social is one of the better indoor play spaces in Singapore for babies and very young toddlers because everything here has been scaled down to suit them. There are no towering slides, noisy arcade machines or older children racing through the same play structure. Instead, the room is filled with open-ended toys, books, sensory materials, musical instruments and simple play setups that children can explore at their own pace.
That makes it especially appealing during the stage when a child is crawling, pulling up, taking their first steps or still putting almost everything into their mouth. The space feels calm and manageable, and parents can stay close without constantly having to rescue a toddler from equipment designed for much older children.
The structured programmes are another reason to visit. Little Play Social runs sessions including Baby Wellness, Music and Movement, Babies Books Club and Classical Music for Babies, with most programmes including free-play time afterwards. The classical music sessions in particular have developed a strong following among parents with babies.
The main practical drawback is the access. The studio is on the second floor of a shophouse and there is no lift, which makes a baby carrier far easier than bringing a stroller. The space is also deliberately small and gentle, so children approaching four who want climbing, slides and lots of physical activity will probably be happier elsewhere.
For babies and toddlers under three, though, Little Play Social fills a useful niche. It feels more like a thoughtfully stocked playroom than a commercial indoor playground, and that is precisely why many younger children seem comfortable there.

Things parents usually want to know
Very good rainy-day and hot-weather option. The play space is fully indoors, though the final approach from the MRT involves a short outdoor walk.
Advance booking recommended
A carrier is easier than a stroller because the venue is upstairs without a lift. If you bring a stroller, check with Little Play Social about where it can be left during your session.
Diaper changing facilities available
From Marine Parade MRT, walk roughly 4–5 minutes towards East Coast Road. Little Play Social is on the second floor at 77 East Coast Road, opposite the i12 Katong area. Nearby bus stops include Opp Roxy Square and Roxy Square.
What other families are saying
Parents consistently mention how well Little Play Social works for babies and very young toddlers. The toys and sensory materials are chosen with this age group in mind, and families particularly appreciate having a play space where crawlers and early walkers are not competing with much older children.
Cleanliness comes up frequently too. Parents have highlighted the diaper-changing area, the toy steriliser and the attention given to toys that babies may put into their mouths. The overall atmosphere is usually described as calm, spacious enough for young children to explore, and much less overwhelming than a large indoor playground.
The music programmes also receive strong feedback. Parents attending the Classical Music for Babies sessions often mention that their children stay engaged with the live instruments and still have enough time afterwards to explore the toys and books during free play.
The main practical complaint is access. The studio is on the second floor with no lift, so families arriving with a stroller may find the stairs inconvenient. Street parking around Katong can also be difficult during busy periods.
**Common positives:** Calm atmosphere, very baby-friendly setup, thoughtfully selected toys, sensory materials, cleanliness and well-liked music programmes
**Common drawback:** Walk-up second-floor access and limited stroller convenience
**Best suited to:** Babies, crawlers and toddlers who enjoy quieter, open-ended play
